We do this by employing airborne LIDAR, GIS, PLS-CADD and other technologies to fully identify and map all of a utility's assets, risks to those assets, and ancillary structures in the service Right of Way. This data can be modeled to create digital, 3-D representations of the utility's 'in-service' infrastructure, delivering precise information about the nature and location of utility assets and threats. Furthermore, URMC can use that same technology to assist utilities in determining line sag and sway under virtually endless operating conditions and variables, thereby identifying previously unforeseen threats and enabling the utilities to potentially locate untapped potential.
